IMPORTANT FLU OUTBREAK INFORMATION Update April 30, 2009 at 10:30 p.m.
PLAYER REVIEW PRIOR TO GAME START
Coaches will be required to review and validate that their game roster does not include any players who are ineligible to compete per the STYSA Swine Flu Notice (H1/N1).

Referees will ask each team if any players from either team attend a school that has been closed because of Swine Flu. Any player who says that they attend a school that has been closed due to Swine Flu will not be allowed to play.

"Any player affected by the closure of a school due to the outbreak of Swine Flu is ineligible to participate in any South Texas Youth Soccer Association activity. This includes players competing in any STYSA Cup Competitions (South Texas Cup, Directors Cup, Presidents Cup, or National Cup). Activities apply to both recreational and competitive teams.
